Carl W. Taylor, 91, of Olney, died on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Richland Nursing and Rehab.

Carl was born on August 4, 1930 in St. James Twp, Missouri, the son of Emory and Emma (Mitchell) Taylor. He married Marie (Russo) in 1963 in Las Vegas, NV, and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2021.

Carl was an Army veteran, and he served in the Korean war. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union out of St. Louis, MO. He loved to shrimp, and even owned his own shrimp boat while he lived in Texas. Carl loved to travel and gamble with his wife, Marie. He will be greatly missed by his children and his grandchildren.

Carl is survived by his daughters, Susie (John Null) Long, Carla Taylor, Lillian Angle, Winnie Ciolino, and Ann Marie Gragg; Grandchildren, Stacey Koehler, Rory (Amber) Berkshire, Brad Long, Chasity (Kenny) Wilson, Erica (Chris) Toliver, Brandon (Julie) Angle, Matt (Kathy) Angle, Justin Angle, Ashley Angle, and Jacob Angle; Several step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, children, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers, Lysander, Ray Dean, Thomas, and Estes Taylor; sister, Cleaon Taylor.

Cremation Rites will be accorded.
