A private family Memorial Graveside Service for Jeanette J. Reynolds will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the Riverview Cemetery in McCook, Nebraska with Pastor Rex Adams officiating.

Jeanette Jane (Roth) Reynolds, 86 years of age, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Loomis, Nebraska surrounded by her family, on October 28, 2021. Jeanette was born in McCook, Nebraska on July 8, 1935, the youngest of 11 children of German immigrants from Russia, John and Anna (Schwartz) Roth. She is the last of these siblings.

She attended McCook public schools and in her freshman year of high school she met the love of her life Eldon Reynolds. The couple married in 1952 and have spent 69 years of marriage together. In the early years of her marriage, she worked at Mode'O Day, and Hesteds in McCook, Nebraska. In 1964 they purchased the Naden's store in Stamford, Nebraska. The family owned and operated Reynolds Grocery until Eldon's health required them to sell the store. While maintaining the books for the store during the day, in 1968 she became employed at Becton Dickinson Company in Holdrege, Nebraska working the night shift until her retirement in 1998.

The couple remained in Stamford until their oldest two children graduated from high school, then moved with their youngest daughter to Arapahoe, Nebraska to be near her sister Lorraine (Toots). Together the couple car pooled with area people to work at Becton Dickinson. In 1977 they purchased a home in Loomis. where the couple resided until her passing.

Jeanette enjoyed cooking and crocheting, sharing her talents with everyone in the family and even made a few extra afghans for the great-grandchildren yet to come.

Besides her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by, her brothers: John Jr.; Hank; Ed; Ray; Rueben; Al; Marvin, and her sisters: Mary Uhrich; Pauline Walters; and Lorraine (Toots) Hoffman.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Eldon of Loomis; her three children: Kent Reynolds and his wife, Deanna of Loomis; Lorrie Anderson and her husband, Max of Omaha; and Rondalyn Reynolds of Loomis; four grandchildren: Courtney Reynolds and his wife, Jessica of Loomis; Nicholas Reynolds of Lexington; Josie Laurent and her husband, Dillion of Omaha; and Jocelyn Glore and her husband, Nick of Fulton, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren: Grady, Easton & Parker Reynolds of Loomis; and Judah, Jessa, Isaiah, and Ezra Glore of Fulton; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
