Johnny Morris Hubbard of Stedman died on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Fayetteville.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Oak Grove Church Cemetery in Stedman.

He was born to the late Edward Mitchel Hubbard and Nannie Averitt Hubbard. He is also preceded in death by his sister Louise Honeycutt McPhail and his brothers Earl, Marcus, Leonard, William (Bill), Charles, Bonner, and Douglas, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Johnny loved hunting and passed on his enjoyment of it. He was a member of the Stedman Masonic Lodge and was retired from Hubbard Pipe & Supply.

He is survived by his sons, Scott Hubbard from Stedman and Lieutenant Colonel, US Army, Retired Michael Hubbard & wife Anne of Eastover, granddaughter Emily Megan Hubbard of California, and grandson Samuel Joseph Hubbard of Eastover, sisters Joyce Bridges of Raleigh and Sudie Blanton of Durham, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
