Jeffery Andrew Taylor, 55, of Paris, Illinois, passed away October 26, 2021, at his home with his children and family by his side.

Jeff was born September 16, 1966, in Paris to the late James A. and Rosemary (Smith) Taylor.

Survivors include four daughters, Amanda (Kurtis) Martin, Kortni (Zach) Hamil, Marah Butler (Cesar Xibille), and Megan Butler; a son, Logan Taylor; four grandchildren, Jocelyn Martin, Calvin Hamil, Hadley Hamil and Leon Taylor; three brothers, Curtis Taylor, Troy Taylor and Charles Tischer; two sisters, Sandra (Rick) Lewis and Amy (Brad) Sisson; several very special nieces, nephews and cousins that were more like siblings; as well as special friend, Shelly Riggs and best friend, James Rinehart. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosemary Taylor, and his grandparents, Frieda Freeman O'Neil, Glen Smith, James A. Taylor, and Cumie Black Dourbley.

Jeff was a 1985 graduate of Paris High School and finished his Associate's Degree at Ivy Tech College in Mechanics. Jeff was employed at GE Aviation for over 20 years. Jeff was an avid sports fan but especially enjoyed watching his Chicago Cubs & Chicago Bears play. He loved to golf and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Jeff coached the Lions Team in the Paris City League from 1998-2006. Jeff's family and friends meant the world to him. Jeff would light up when seeing his children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Paris City League Basketball.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Templeton Funeral Home. Interment will be private in Edgar Cemetery at a later date.
