Paul Smeltzer officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:30 p.m. in Simsboro City Cemetery, Simsboro, LA. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA.
Rusty was born September 20, 1963 in Ruston, LA and passed away October 24, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. He loved to fish and hunt, especially squirrel hunt with his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Peggy Russell Robertson. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Gail Robertson of Ringgold, LA; daughter, Tami Giddens and her husband, James of DeBerry, TX; sisters, Kristy Hickman of West Monroe, LA, Becky Ingram of Bossier City, LA and Lori Frederick and husband, Shane of Ruston, LA; grandchildren, Madison, Ryker and Londyn Giddens, all of DeBerry, TX and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Barry Miller, Bobby Rhodes, Harold "Bub" Rowell, Barry Culpepper, Bubba Parks, and Tommy Madden. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy "Bones" Johnson and Danny "Mule" Smith.
