Sandra Sue Nelson, the daughter of Frankie Dean and Stella Maxine (Montgomery) Hall, was born on August 11, 1961 in Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on October 21, 2021 at Agrex Inc at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 60 years, 2 months, 10 days.

Sandy attended Superior Public Schools graduating from Superior High School with the class of 1979. She furthered her education at Cloud County Community College.

She married Kendall Nelson on October 16, 1982 and to this union 2 sons were born.

Sandy was employed at Agrex Inc. in Superior, Nebraska as a grain merchandiser. A job she truly loved, working alongside her Agrex family, and the many friends she made throughout her career. While employed at Agrex, she earned her Masters of Grain Merchandising through White Commercial.

Sandy was a member of Superior Ambassadors, Webber Wide Awake 4-H leader, 4-H Extension Council, she was a member of Formoso Community Church and served on the Board and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved to travel especially to the mountains, and would love to walk through the creeks barefooted, no matter the season. She liked to play cards with family and friends. Earning the title "Grammy" was her greatest joy, and Sunday family dinners were important to her because family was her number one priority.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law Marvin L. Nelson.

She is survived by her husband Kendall of Formoso, Kansas; son's Jared Nelson and wife Tricia of Montrose, Kansas; and Jason Nelson and wife Haley of Formoso, Kansas; five grandchildren Isaac, Carter, Mallory, Jasper and a little one due in May. She is also survived by her brother Edmon Hall and wife Paula of Lincoln, Nebraska, sisters, Debra Harris of Montrose, Kansas and Jacqueline Albertson and husband Rick of Republic, Kansas; brother-in-law Eric Nelson and wife Theresa of Lincoln, Nebraska; and sister-in-law Lisa Goodheart and husband Todd of Glen Elder, Kansas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
