"I do not deserve nor should I expect any accolades for what I was privileged to do during my lifetime. It falls far short of what I could and should have done.

When I get to meet God, I wonder if He might ask me about my life. He may even ask if I think the work I have done is sufficient and acceptable to Him. Then He may look in the Book of Life and see that I was among the chief of sinners and hopelessly in debt. Not acceptable! My works will not pay the debt. Then I will rely on my trust in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who interceded for me and all sinners. With thanks and praise I know He paid the debt for all. Even though our sins were like scarlet, He made them white as snow."
