Randy Scott Hutchins, age 56, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Transylvania Regional Hospital.
He was born in Buncombe County on March 23, 1965, to Freida Jean Hutchins and the late Thomas David Hutchins.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Hutchins.
He is survived by, in addition to his mother, his son, Andrew Hutchins (Ashley); two grandchildren, Lena Hilton and Eric Hilton; two siblings, Mike Hutchins (Nettie) and Sheryl Merrill (Dana); and four nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park in Black Mountain. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 1:00, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
