Leona Darlene Sunby, 73, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, in Las Vegas. She was a retired customer service representative for an insurance company. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Karol; daughter, Terri Decker; and son, Steven Sunby. She is survived by her husband, of 53 years, Gary Sunby; daughter, Jill (Jerry) Strange; son, Anthony (Kristin) Sunby; and eight grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89121. Committal service following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
