Born on September 7, 1938 in Ora, IN, he was the son of the late Jonas and Stella (Imel) Brown.
He was served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.
Jonathan was a locksmith for over 48 years at the Logansport State Hospital.
He was a member of the American Legion, River of Life Christian Church and he enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Brown; one son; three sisters; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Brown and Jonas Brown.
Graveside services and military rites will be performed at 3:30 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
