Donna J. Willey, 75 of Waverly, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at Comfort House Hospice of Pella, Iowa of natural causes.

Donna was born on March 14, 1929 to Henry and Lillian (Schoelerman) Rinderknecht in Benton County, Iowa.

Donna attended rural schools and graduated from Keystone High School. After attending Iowa State Teacher's College in Cedar Falls, she received her teaching certificate and taught in rural schools.

She was married to E. P. Willey of Chelsea, Iowa on March 20, 1949. They had three children, Kathleen, Cheryl and James.

She served as a substitute teacher and teacher's aide for 15 years in the Belle Plaine School system. Donna was active in church activities as a Sunday school teacher and Chairman of Education at the Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine for 20 years. She was a 4-H member for eleven years and 4-H leader of the Chelsea Challengers 4-H club for 28 years, receiving the Iowa State Alumni Award in 1975. She was member of Chapter EI PEO in Belle Plaine for over 50 years.

In 1976, Donna and E.P. moved with their family to Waverly, Iowa, where they opened the Waverly Motor Supply, and in 1989 they retired.

Donna has been decorating cakes for nearly 50 years. She had a bridal business, ''Donna Willey's Wedding World'' where she was a consultant as well as decorated the cakes and arranged flowers for brides.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waverly.

She is survived by her husband, E.P. of Waverly, Iowa, their children, a daughter, Kathleen Willey of Pella, Iowa; a daughter, Cheryl Fuentes-Wagner of Sugar Land, Texas; one son, James Willey and his wife, Becky of Delhi, Iowa; six grandchildren, Jose Luis, ''Joey'' Fuentes and his wife, Patricia Hart of Leeds, England, Christian Willey and his wife, Andrea of Manchester, Iowa; Jackie Willey of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Ana Fuentes of Sugar Land, Texas; Tyler Willey of Delhi, Iowa; and Katherine Wagner of Sugar Land, Texas; one great granddaughter, Isabelle Willey of Manchester, Iowa; one brother, Calvin Rinderknecht of Van Horne, Iowa.

Donna was preceded in death by her father and mother, Henry and Lillian Rinderknecht.

Funeral services will held on Monday, March 22, 2004 at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, Waverly with burial in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly. Memorials may be directed to the family.
