Margaret Nugent Born 31 October 1876 in
Tallycillick, Monaghan, Ireland

Biography
Charles mom died when he was very young so he became a Orphan & his aunt took him in. She didn't take very good care of him though. Charles Had a Weathly appearence & worked hard but was not wealthy & had almost no Education. At 40 years old he joined the service. He was a Gaurd in the docks at Hoboken. This is so he could get enough money to support the kids. Charles Married Margaret Nugent Dec 7 1897 in NY.
Margaret and Charles lived in a two room Flat in west side of New York City. There daughter Margaret shared a bed with her 2 brothers. A fire department was across the street & a railroad went by there house. Charles didnt like the big city. In about 1908 they moved to a farm in upstate New York in Peekskill. They went to Peekskill in a horse-drawn Carriage on a rainy night when they moved. The house was big & set back from the road with big cherry trees on both sides of the house. There was a wall around the front edge of property. Most there childeren did farm work. They had many animals on the farm. They had a horse named Nellie & a dog named Duke. Charles dies in a Veterans homes

-1900-1910 census shows He did what they called Turkish bath for a living its receiving a scrub and massage by the skilled attendants also could of used hot marble stones on your back. Also probably had a steam bath where he worked.
-1945 census shows him as a Painter

This is from the family bible written by the Covello family. I have research alot about this family as well to add to it.
