Jennifer M. Clayton, 30, of Lincoln, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 in Lincoln after a 20 year struggle with an eating disorder.
Jennifer was born on April 26, 1976, in York, to Mearl and Patricia (Morgan) Clayton.
Jennifer graduated from York High School in 1994 as co-salutatorian. She also won 3 state tennis class B singles championships.
In college she played tennis for UNL and graduated with highest distinction in elementary education. She went on to get her Masters degree in elementary education.
Jennifer was a teacher in Arizona for 5 years.
She enjoyed all sports and being outdoors. Jenny loved children and animals. Her passion was teaching and books.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, Mearl and Patricia Clayton of York, sister Becky, brother-in-law Justin Sheard and nephew Isaac Sheard of Minneapolis, MN, and sister, Shelly Clayton, of York, grandpa, Dwaine Morgan of York.
