Passing Of Mrs. E. S. Stanley
CRANBOURNE and Dandenong friends of Mrs. Sarah Ellen Stanley, of Normanby St., Cranbourne, will be sorry to hear that she passed away yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Kelly, 153 Stud Rd, Dandenong. The late Mrs. Stanley was the wife of Mr. Edward Stanley, and loving mother of Vincent, Aileen (Mrs. J. Conroy), Gerald, Margaret (Mrs. J. Kelly) and Patricia (Mrs. P. Bolch). Of a gentle and loving disposition the late Mrs. Stanley will be greatly missed, not only by the members of her own family but also by a wide circle of district friends who had learnt to appreciate her sterling qualities in her long residence in these parts. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Byrne, and as well as her own family, is survived by two sisters and three brothers. Many mourners attended the Requiem Mass offered up at St. Agatha's Church, Cranbourne, this morning and later paid their last respects at the grave side as the remains were interred in the Dandenong Cemetery. W. J. Garnar Son Pty. Ltd. had charge of the funeral arrangements.
