He was the son of the late William A. Edwards and Barbara Louise Johnson Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa Lynn Edwards and his second wife, Alice Sue Edwards; and brother, William "Larry" Edwards.
He was a chemical operator for DuPont Plant in Belle and FMC in South Charleston. He was a member of Smith Memorial Church.
He is survived by: son, Martin Edwards and wife Summer of Idaho; daughter, Erin Hudnall and her husband, Joey of Charleston, WV; step daughter, Holly McDonald of Charleston; Step sons, John McDonald of Belle, David Craft and his wife, Sandy and Neil Craft and his wife, Julie; grandchildren, Hannah, Madix, Berkley, Mason, Kaylee, Brian, Brandy, Rebecca, Ciara, Tyler, Tonya, Dana and Brennen; and 6 great grandchildren.
According to Donald's wishes there will be no services. Matics Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
