Source: Norborne Democrat. John Marvin Boschert, youngest son of William and Ann (Hofmann) Boschert, passed away at Community Hospital in Naples, Florida January 23, 1976 of cancer. Johnny was born November 7, 1932 in rural Norborne and lived here the first twelve years of his life before moving to Kansas City. He was a Navy veteran and had lived in California and Florida.

He is survived by two daughters of California; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Young, Independence Mo., Mrs. Raymond (Eldred) Thies, DeWitt, Mo. Mrs. Eddie (Lillian) Allen, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. LeRoy (Dene) Hayslett, Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Delmar T. Boschert, Overland Park, Kansas and J.D. Boschert, Fryeburg, Maine. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Olin and one sister, Rosalee Linville.
