Obituary published in the Kansas City (MO) Star: Mrs. Lillian Rose Allen, 66, Pittsburg, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, died Sunday at a hospital in Bolivar, Mo. She was born in Carrollton, Mo., and moved to Pittsburg from Kansas City seven years ago. Mrs. Allen was a county health nurse in Hickory County, Mo. She was a member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, Hermitage, Mo. She leaves her husband, Ed Allen of the home; two sons, Tom Allen, Warsaw, Mo., and Ted Allen, Napton, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Connie Zimmerman, Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Delmar Boschert, Overland Park, and J.D. Boschert, Fryeburg, Maine; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Young and Mrs. Uldene Hayslett of Kansas City and Mrs. Eldred Theis, DeWitt, Mo.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church; burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 4 p.m. today at the Hathaway Chapel, Wheatland, Mo.
