Dian Butt Taylor, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away October 7, 2021 with her family at her side. She was born September 12, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to Lavelle Butt and Geneva Ritchie Butt.

Dian grew up in Marriott, Utah and graduated from Weber High School, LDS Seminary and Stevens Henager Business College and worked as a secretary at Ogden Ironworks and Hill Airforce Base.

She married the love of her life, her eternal companion Raughn Taylor June 23, 1961 in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their homes in Roy, Mountain Green and ultimately Henefer, Utah where they spent the majority of their life.

Dian loved music throughout her life. As early as elementary school she sang with her brothers as the 3D's. She later learned to play piano and was very involved in music and drama through her high school years. Later music continued to bring her much joy and she often served as Chorister in her LDS Church Wards and would play the piano for the residents at Lotus Park where she made her home the last five years.

Dian's greatest traits were being kind and loving. She deeply loved her family and cherished them. Her children and grandchildren brought her much joy and happiness and she was very proud of them and their accomplishments.

Dian is survived by sons, DeVor (Leisha), Earl and Shawn (Erin), eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and brothers, Dennis and Dwight. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Ardis and Vernell, brother LaVell and granddaughter Kayla.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Henefer, UT cemetery.
