Mrs. Thelma J. Mathis, age 93, of Roaring River, widow of Coy Mathis died Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Britthaven Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at Cranberry Baptist Church Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Mathis was born in Wilkes County, September 27, 1911, to S. S. and Joanna Anderson Jarvis. She was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church.
A daughter, Mary Sale precedes Mrs. Mathis in death. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one grandson, one great grandson, two sons-in-law.
