John George Sterner, born near Hamilton Township, Northampton County, (now Monroe County) Pennsylvania, who moved to STARK County, Ohio before 1820 - has long been confused for George M Starner, who lived many years near Smithfield County, Northampton, Pennsylvania before moving to PERRY County, Ohio around 1832 according to "History of Crawford County, Ohio" that gives a brief history of George M Starner's son... and according to 1800-1830 census records that show George M in the Smithfield, PA area - then in 1840 and 1850, he is shown in Perry, Ohio.

All this confusion has happened because someone submitted a "Sons of the America Revolution Member" application with wrong information.

Thank you so much for your help to rectify this situation.
