Amanda was born to Abraham Lincoln Maceil and Della Catherine Morgan Maceil. She is the second child of seven. She was born at her Grandmother Morgans home on West Lloyd Street in Ebenburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. She grew up in several areas of Pittsburgh, Pa. As a young women she joined the Womans Army Corp. WAC's during WW2 and was in the Motor Corp.driving various Army equipment and personel. In 1945 she married Anton Puch in Mississippi and they made their home in Port Washington, Wisconsin. They raised several children in their home.. Their first born Beverly Jean was lost to Cystic Fibrosis as the age of 2 months. Linda Rae was born next, Danny was their 3rd, Danny died from Cystic Fibrosis just 6 days short of his 9th birthday. Kevin, Jerry and Steven followed. Amanda was a very talented seamstress making many of family's clothing. She also was a self taught organist in her later years. She was very well versed in Nutritional make up of foods. She enjoyed many activities,Bow hunting and fishing with her "Tony" on their 40 acres of woods they owned somewhere north of their Port Washington home. Following her death on March 3, 2006 she was laid to rest with her two young children who preceded her in death. RIP Aunt Amanda
