Funeral services for Marilyn E. Coy (nee Olson), 70, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Schaumburg Covenant Church. She will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Born July 7, 1932, in Chicago to the late Klaes Victor and Hilda Kristina Norman Olson, she died Saturday, June 14, 2003, in Batavia. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery. Marilyn was a charter member of the Glenview and Schaumburg Covenant Church. She was the mother of Dan of Schaumburg, Donna of Lake in the Hills, David of Schaumburg, and Dale (Leslie) of Bartlett; grandmother of Angela (Mark) Jones, Jessica and Jacob Coy, and Donald McAllister III; great-grandmother of Miles, Olivia, Maxwell, and Tyson Jones and Jade McAllister; and sister of the late Donald (Margie) Olson and Richard Olson. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 S. Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CRC Homestead Campus, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia, IL 60510.
