Tommy W. Bishop 83 of Sioux Falls, passed away on September 29, 2021 at the Royal C. Johnson Memorial Veterans Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Aberdeen, SD on October 8, 1937 and was adopted shortly after by Madeline and Wilbur Bishop of Sioux Falls. He graduated from Washington High school in 1956. He was a proud member of the Reserves. On March 2, 1957 he married Patricia Adams at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. He worked for many years at Shriver's and Menards. He enjoyed playing softball and coaching and bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pat; 3 sons, Scott, Jeff (Debbie), Steve and one daughter, Jodi and her fiancé Andy; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A committal service for Tommy is scheduled for November 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at the V.A. Hospital and ICU unit also the chaplains for all their tender loving care.
