Victoria Stewart, 74 of Lubbock, passed away on October 2, 2021. Born in Anton, Tx on September 20, 1947 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jose Garnica; she now reunites with her parents; husband, Joe Stewart; and granddaughter, Brittany Stewart.

Victoria married Joe A. Stewart on October 14, 1967 in Anton, Tx. With Joe being in the military, she traveled along side him for nine and a half years until settling in Lubbock to raise their family. Victoria's family was her pride and joy; she was a devoted mom and stayed busy with her children, always making sure they had everything they needed. She loved to cook and try new recipes and in her spare time she loved to sew and crochet. She cherished and adored her grandchildren and loved every opportunity to be along their side. She was a memeber of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she enjoyed going to mass on Sundays.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be sorely missed. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her four children: Joseph Stewart and his wife Misty of Lubbock, Jeffery Stewart of Lubbock, Diana Ashrafi and her husband Syed of Frisco, Deanna Bengoa and her husband Rudy of Lubbock; eleven grandchildren:Taylor Stewart, Madison Stewart, Jeffery Stewart, Gabriella Bengoa, Jose Bengoa, Mia Bengoa, Rudy Bengoa, Eshan Ashrafi, Sophia Ashrafi, Ayaan Ashrafi, Aliyah Ashrafi; great-grandson, Layton Cash Stewart; sister, Josie Solis Portillo of Littlefield; three brothers: Albert Garnica of Lubbock, Joe Jr. Garnica of Amarillo, and Paul Garnica of Memphis, and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests at the Funeral home on Friday, October 8, 2021 for a 6pm Rosary service and visitation from 7pm-9pm. Service will continue with a 9am Celebration of Victoria's Life on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 9 am at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
