Lady Brigid Katherine Rachel Guinness was the youngest daughter of Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh, and his wife, Lady Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow. She was married at Little Hadham on 30 Jul 1945 to Prinz Friedrich von Preussen, with whom she had issue three sons and two daughters. Following the death of her first husband, she was married at Old Windsor, Berkshire on 3 Jun 1967 to Major Anthony Patrick Ness.
