Tommy Lynn Cox, 68, of Lumberton, NC, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Medical Center in Pinehurst. He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 11, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tilman Cox and Hilda Connor Cox; two brothers, Sonny Cox and Boyd Cox; and two sisters, Faye Moody and Ruby Sealey. He is survived by his wife, four children , two brothers, three sisters: four grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the home of Tommy & Penny Cox, 3857 Beulah Church Road in Lumberton, NC. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Elim Baptist Church with Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery. Following the burial, the family will receive friends at the graveside.
