Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic church with Rev. James Fitzgerald in charge. Burial will be in st. John's cemetery. the body was taken to Young's Funeral home, but was returned to the Duncan home where friends may call after 5 p.m. today.
Mrs. Duncan was born Carrie M. Whittman to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whittman on June 20, 1889 in Tipton county. She attended Todd school and was a member of St. John's Catholic church.
On Nov. 8, 1914, Mr. and Mrs. Elza Duncan were married. Mrs. Duncan had lived all her life in this community. Mr. Duncan is a farmer.
Survivors are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Ed Enneking, 216 Mill street, Mrs. Dallas Ressler, route 5, and Mrs. Allen Meyncke, near Windfall; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Young, route 2, and Mrs. Lewis Garst, of Fortville; two brothers, Harry Whittman, near Fortville, and one granddaughter.
