Francis P. "Frank" Davis Jr., 74, a resident of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of State College and Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday morning, September 30, 2021, at Homewood.

He was born in Williamsport, PA, son of the late Reverend Francis Paul Davis Sr., and Savilla E. (Bonham) Davis. Reverend Davis married Frank and Lynn M. Kirkpatrick on June 7, 1969. Surviving is his beloved wife, Lynn, of 52 years; a sister, Anne D. Vincenti (Richard) of Chambersburg; many nieces and nephews; and his devoted feline companion Tuesday-Joy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Neal Davis.

Frank was a 1966 graduate of Lansdowne-Aldan High School and also completed business courses through the Pennsylvania School of Technology, Media. He was employed for 20 years as a pipe organ tuner, repairman and rebuilder, working in the Philadelphia area. Frank also worked as a self-employed piano tuner/repairman. He served for many years as organist and choir director for various Episcopal churches. He officially retired from full-time employment in February 2009 at age 62.

Frank was currently a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Bedford, and for many years was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Lansdowne. He loved spending time with his family, playing the organ and singing in his church choirs. Frank also enjoyed and met his wife, Lynn, while competing in the church bowling league.

Frank was genuinely interested in everyone and was a friend to all who knew him.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date at St. James Episcopal Church, Bedford. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
