Mr. Forney Thomas VanHuss, 75, of Connelly Springs passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 following a period of declining health.
Forney was born April 1, 1946 in Carter County, TN to the late Allison VanHuss and Hazel Buckles VanHuss. He served honorably in the United States Army, he was a Vietnam Veteran and was a member of Chapter #34 DAV.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Crooks VanHuss, of the home; daughters, Kim Lingle and husband Mikeal of Granite Falls; and Belinda VanHuss, of Granite Falls; sisters, Audrey Hall, of Hickory; and Shirley Waters, of TN; grandchildren, Kerstin VanHuss, of Charlotte; Amber Smith and husband, Austin of Morganton; and Hunter Lingle and finance, Alexandrea, and daughter Remi.
The family will receive friends at Heritage Funeral Service Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
