Arthur Leslie Arrance, janitor at the Veterans Administration hospital, died there Saturday.
Mr. Arrance was born in Michigan and served in the army in World War I. Afterwards he went to Oregon and worked as a logger for many years. He resided in Dixie Valley for some time before coming to work at the VA hospital in 1950. He made his home in Sparks.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Arrance; seven children, Ina Damon of Vista, May Etta Ogg of Portland. Martha Callahan and Myron Arrance of Sparks, Dean and Dale Arrance of Silrtz, Ore., and Daniel Arrance of the US Air Force. And 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the O'Brien-Rogers chapel, followed by burial in Mountain View cemetery.
