Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Beverly Ann Simmons, 63, who entered eternal rest, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her residence in Opelousas, LA.
Interment will be in Mt. Triumph Baptist Church Cemetery in Barbreck, LA.
Mrs. Simmons is survived by her father, Stafford Van Wright of Port Arthur, TX; a son, Joseph Simmons (Shaniqua) of Opelousas, LA; a daughter, Charlotte Edgerson (Eldrich) of Opelousas, LA; a grandson, El Traven Edgerson of Opelousas, LA and a host of extended family members and friends.
Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Simmons; her mother, Irene Gibson; a brother, Donald Ray Gibson; maternal grandparents, Joseph & Charlotte Gibson.
Visiting hours will be observed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home.
