JACOB JEFFERY BROWN Salt Lake City, Utah On Friday, April 30, 2021, Jacob Brown, loving son, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 31. Jacob was born Oct. 16, 1989, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to James Brown and Yeelah Knight. Jake's passion was life and living it large. He loved music and dancing, to explore the great outdoors, and his family and friends. He was known for his infectious laugh, kind smile, and gentle heart. Jacob Brown is survived by his mother, Yeelah and her husband Phil; his father, James, his wife and Jake's stepmother, Rai Ann; his sister, Kathleen; his brother, Jebril and his wife Kelly; his brother, Isaac; his grandparents, Constance and William; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joan and Marvin "Pete;" and his cousins, Ryan and Lilo. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 5925 Seminole Valley Trail NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52411. We ask that all flowers and donations be sent to 3627 Kegler Ct.
