Esther Lee "Jackie" Griffith age 83 of the Hardin Valley Community Knoxville passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021. Jackie attended Smith Grove Baptist Church. She formerly worked at Morning Star Child Development Center where she was a cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Griffith Jr.; parents, Abner M. Nash and Morrine Emberton Nash; sons, Anthony Dale Griffith, Randall Eugene Griffith and Joe Griffith; brothers, Dewey Nash and Joe Nash; sisters: Aredus McBride, Naomi Lamb and Elvie Rutherford. Survived by her children: Helen Townsend (Fred), Nyoka Wilson (Johnny), Alan Nash and Gerald Griffith (Tammy); 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Clarence Nash; along with many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at their convenience at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City on Saturday, September 25th. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Oliver Springs Cemetery for graveside services with Pastor Darrell Hackworth officiating.
