November 27, 1948 - September 22, 2021

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Littleton Alden will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Crossroads New Life Tabernacle, Deville, with Reverends James White, Jarryd Raynes and Jessie Littleton officiating. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Effie, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Alden, 72, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Bardwell; her former husband, Marvin E. Littleton, Sr.; three brothers, Charles R. Bardwell, James P. Bardwell and Joe B. Bardwell; and two sisters, Geraldine Bryant and Betty Gaspard.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two sons, Marvin E. Littleton, Jr. (Terry), of Colfax, and John T. Alden, Jr., of Pineville; two daughters, Charlotte Littleton (Curtis), of Pineville, and Brandy Kincaid (Kelly) of Shreveport; three step-children, Christina Littleton, Joyce Lavespere and Christopher Littleton; five grandchildren, Lexi Snow (Logan), of Del City, Oklahoma, Dylan Molenhour, of Shreveport, Marlana Littleton (Jacob), of Pineville, E3 Army Conner Kincaid (Hannah), of Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and E3 MCAS Caleb Kincaid (Madison), of Yuma, Arizona; three great granddaughters, Mary Kate, Harley Rose and Baby on the Way; and three step-great grandchildren, Maizey, Thomas and Richard.

A time of visitation will be held at Crossroads New Life Tabernacle, Deville, on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The family would like give special thanks to Christus Hospice and Palliative Care, especially, Stacey, Kacie, Mikayla and Sarah, for their care and support.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: Marvin E. Littleton, Jr., Dylan Molenhour, E3 Conner Kinkaid, E3 Caleb Kinkaid, Logan Snow, Jacob Stockman, Curtis Littleton and Wilmer Wade.
