Betty Gaspard, age 70 of Centerpoint, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Centerpoint, Louisiana. She retired from Pinecrest as a kitchen supervisor. She was a member of Ball Apostolic Church and later became a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Deville, Louisiana. Her hobbies included camping and fishing. Her passion was going to the Blue Grass Festival. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gaspard; her Daughter Tammy Gaspard; her parents, George Washington and Lillian Ruth (Allen) Bardwell; sister, Geraldine "Dean" (Bardwell) Bryant; brothers, Charles Raymond Bardwell, Joe Berry Bardwell, Sr. and James Preston Bardwell, Sr..

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her daughter, Judy Ann Gaspard of Centerpoint; sons, Albert W. Gaspard & wife, Nola of Marksville, and Travis Gaspard & wife, Lynn of Deville; Adopted Son James (Jimmy) Preston Bardwell Jr.of Deville; & Adopted Daughter Bambie Bardwell sister, Ruth Bardwell Alden of Deville; brother, George Ray Bardwell & wife, Madeline of Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Gaspard, Alvin Gaspard, Bettydean Gaspard, Tammy Boerboom, David Boerboom and Victor Turnage.
