Gene Floyd Moore, 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Gene was born in Antimony, Utah on March 1, 1936 to Floyd Levi and Grace (Hillman) Moore.
He married Nancy Pearl Nielsen July 27, 1956. She passed away on March 15, 2017. They were married for 65 years.
Gene was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has held multiple callings.
He loved camping, all dogs, listening to music and giving service to others. His life revolved around his love for his wife and family.
Gene is survived by his children: Jody (Don) Howell, Bruce (Andrea) Moore, Bryan (Brenda) Moore, Ann (Matt) Garnes, 15 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. One brother TJ Moore.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, and siblings.
Interment will be in the Syracuse City Cemetery.
