Caroline Snead entered into eternal rest On Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. Born on February 29, 1928 in Albany, N.Y. to Elizabeth Holland and Frank Brandon. Mrs. Snead, formerly of Selkirk, was the wife of the late Samuel Snead. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by B.T. Babbits Co. and St. Peter's Hospital. She is survived by her aunt, Martha Holland Anthony; cousins, Anna Mae Foster, Raymond Holland, Judy Van Heusen and Barbara Caldwell; two devoted nieces, Blanch (Hobert) Coppesge, and Ellen Snead; devoted brother-in-law, James B. (Nora) Snead; dear friend of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Canteen, Juanita Cannon and Bena Frisbee and two nephews, Matthew Snead and Rudy Logan. Also survived by a host of great-nieces, nephews; cousins; and friends. Funeral service Friday 12 noon at Metropolitan N.T.M. Baptist Church, 105 Second Street. Calling hours 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the church prior to the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk, N.Y. Contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Snead to Metropolitan N.T.M.
