Roger White passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beulah Granier White who he dearly missed;
His mother, Matilda Kass White who was the first organist at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church; his father, Walter White, Sr. who was Marshall of Westwego and was killed in the line of duty in 1939; brothers, Walter Jr., Charley, Roland and Henry White; sisters, Bea Arabie, Ethel Marcello, Jenny Simmon, Claire Falcone, Alouise Sevin, Glenda Dupre.
He is survived by his brother Wayne White; his children Kim Griffin (Greg), Darel White (Lori), Karen Cain (Donnie) Travis White (Rhonda), and Roger M. White. Also survived by his grand children Eric (Mayra), Cole (Charlene), Jennifer, Kelly (Justin), Tyler, Cameron (Katelyn), and his eight great grand children.
He was a proud graduate of Westwego High School where he was a talented athlete. Roger was a baseball coach at Pard playground and was an avid Tulane and Saints fan. He was a resident of Marrero, LA.
