CATHERINE SIMPSON JONES "Granny", 93, died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at her daughter's home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was a devoted Christian who was the oldest member of Egypt Baptist church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Herman Jones; her sons, Robert Jones and Stephen Jones; her grandson, Rusty Jones; and her sister, Ethel Hudson. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Bell; and two sons, Frank Jones (JoAnn) and Fred Jones (Sandy); her daughters-in-law, Virginia Jones and Lois Jones; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Jones (Tammy), Jody Jones (Dollie), Greg Jones, Keith Bell (DeAnne), Michael Bell (Jamie), Tammy Robinson (Robby), Scott Jones (Diane), Chris Huddleston (Henry), Steve Jones, Jr. (Lisa), John Jones (Betsy), Teresa Britt (Gary), Bryon Jones (Lili), Brenda Cartwright (Adam) and Donna Roe (Vance); and 35 great-grandchildren. Granny was such a loving person; she loved her family and her friends and will be dearly missed. The family is accepting visitation, Tuesday at Forest Hill East funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12.
