SNIDER, Arthur Glen 1931-2018 Went to be with his Lord peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2018 in his 87th year. He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 66 years Joan (Clarke), his sons Mark (Sharon), Denis (Charu), daughters Kim, Maryann, and son Tom (Jane). Loving grandfather to Shawn (Ashlee), Matthew (Sarah), Luke (Sarah), Katrina (Ben), Nicole, Arjun, Anuj, James, Jason (Arlene), Andrew (Megan), and Leah. Great-grandfather to Leeland, Lincoln, Nathan, Emily, Jadwin, and Jethro. Arthur was born in Bridgeport, Ontario, moved his wife and children from Kitchener to Fergus in 1964. He was the plant manager at Savage Shoe until closing in 1989. Art was a member of the Alma Bible Church where he worshipped until his passing. Dad lived his life respectful of others, his belief in God was his guide. Arthur was predeceased by his parents Walter and Mary a brother Blake and sisters Alta, Olive and Miriam. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Monday, May 28 from 6-9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at The Alma Bible Chapel on Tuesday, May 29 at 11 a.m. and followed by a reception in the church.
