She was born February 5, 1956 to the late Ray W. Plyler and Lucille Stein Plyler.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.
LuAnn is survived by her children, Sharon Jones (Ervin Jones) of Monroe, NC, Kiescha Johnson (Rev. Kevin Johnson) of Chesterfield, SC;
Grandchildren, Taylor Jones (Chris Hoover), Alexis Jones all of Monroe, NC, Maurice Jones, and Celeste Jones both of Concord, NC, Rhiana Smith, Kirsten Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Samuel Johnson all of Chesterfield, SC;
Two great-grandchildren, Kolton Jones and Kai Jones, Emory Smith;
Sisters, Ann Gregory of Jefferson, SC, and Vicky Plyler of Monroe, NC;
Brother, Tim Plyler of Wingate, NC;
Long-time significant other, Erskine Helms; and a host of nieces and nephews.
LuAnn was a wonderful and caring woman. Above all else she loved her family. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with her children and her grandchildren. LuAnn never passed up on the opportunity to help someone in need, as she was always taking care of others. She was a true Elvis fan, and she loved to travel to the beach and mountains any chance she had. LuAnn will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
