Patricia Holbrook Ball, 77, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at her home in North Carrollton, surrounded by her family. Graveside services are 10:30 Monday, September 13, at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, with Rev. Gary Roberson officiating.
Patricia was born in Little Rock, AR to Cecil and Gladys Holbrook and grew up in Greenwood where she graduated from Greenwood High School in 1962. She married Robert L. Ball in 1967 and moved to Carrollton to raise her two daughters.
Mrs. Ball served as the Director of the Carroll County Library for 26 years. Once retired, she enjoyed keeping the Beck Boys, who became like family to her. She was a member of the Carrollton Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday School Class for many years. Her interests included gardening, sports and being in her home of 46 years with her puppy, Charlie.
The widow of Robert L. Ball, she is survived by two daughters, Tricia Ball of Nashville, TN and Robbie Ball Sisco (Jimmy) of Braselton, GA; a sister Cecelia Steen of Philipp, MS and several nieces and nephews.
