AFTON, JUNE WILMA Kent City June Wilma Afton, age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leon, Vernon and Faye. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd "Bud"; children, Michael and Kathy Afton, Teresa and Fred Gebauer, Larry and Kim Afton, Dan and Barb Afton; grandchildren, Joni, Julie, Jon and Brittany, Thomas, Jacob, Katie, Nicklas, Ryan; great grandchildren, Ashley, Gage, Makayla, Makenzie; sister, Arlene Spoelman; brothers, Dale Rider, Chuck Rider; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Kent City Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Interment Idlewild Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the Funeral Home on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice. www.hesselcheslek.com Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home Sparta
