Edith Rose Anderson, 92, of Muskogee, OK passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born on April 24, 1928 to Walter and Charlene (Longacre) Penfold in Tridell, UT. Rose attended Merced Union High School and graduated on June 14, 1946.
She married the love of her life, Alva Ray Anderson on November 10, 1946 in Merced, California. They shared many happy years of life and memories together.
Rose was of Southern Baptist faith. She spent most of her life taking care of the home and anyone who entered. She was an exceptional wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Ray Anderson; father, Walter Eugene Penfold; mother, Charlene (Longacre) Penfold; four sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her brothers, Chauncey and Everett; son, Rodney Anderson and wife Arthea of Mesa, AZ; daughters, Renee Beckham and husband Neill of Wichita Falls, TX and Robin Brown and husband Ron of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Randy Anderson and wife Becca of Murrieta, CA, Roger Anderson of Murrieta, CA, Jeneane McBride and husband Ken of Abbingdon, MD, Faith Beckham of Grand Prairie, TX, Emily Beckham of Grand Prairie, TX, Robert Brown of Hacienda Heights, CA, Rebekah Brown of Middletown, CT, and Renald Brown of Muskogee, OK; great-grandchildren, Troy Marks-Anderson, Evie McBride, Ellie McBride, and Natalya Beckham.
