Donald L, Rowe, 84 of Indianapolis, passed away September 9, 2021. He was born in Fontanet, IN, December 13, 1936 to parents Maurice Rowe and Dorothy Van Hook. Don graduated from Clinton High School in 1955. He went onto proudly serve his country in the US Air Force. don worked as a job setter Ford for 31 years before retiring. On March 11, 1990 he married his loving wife, Marie (Kates) Rowe in Las Vegas, NV. They shared 31' wonderful years together.
He was a valued loyal member of both the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. For over 16 years, Don has been a faithful member of the Sunnyside Road Baptist church. don was a warmhearted, social gentleman. He and his wife Marie enjoyed traveling all around the world. don loved camping and he also enjoyed square dancing.
He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Don is survived by his wife Marie; sons, Steven Rowe (Trudy) and Stuart Rowe (Justine); daughter Debbie Wentland (Ron); stepchildren Phillip Mullins (Kathy) and Douglas Mullins; grandchildren, Zachary Rowe (Keirstan), Jan Rowe, Davis Wentland and Regan Wentland; and great grandson Kaleb Rowe; sisters, Tally Castagnohi (Celse) and sue Willsey; half sisters Wanda Goins (Joe) and Sharon; and half brother Chester Rowe. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his half brother Ronnie Rowe.
Visitation for Don will be Tuesday September 14, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, from 1 pm to 3 pm. His funeral will begin at 3 pm. He will be laid to rest in Washington park East Cemetery.
