Retired executive and honorary chairman of the board of the Waylite Company, 20 North Wacker Drive, manufacturers of lightweight building materials.

During World War I, he was a 1st Lieut. with the 4th Trench Mortar Battery, 4th Division.


He was the son of Colonel Elmer A. Howard and Mar Lamson Howard.

On December 11, 1917 as Eugene Addison Howard, he married Lydia Belle Kuehnle at Denison, Iowa.

They were the parents of two children.

Graveside service Friday 3:30PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dr. William Baar. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Women's Board, Chicago Rehabilitation Institute, 401 East Ohio Street.
