Postmaster in Windham for 32 years, also a special police officer & volunteer firefighter. Husband of 52 years of the late Mary (Boylan) Butterfield who died in 2002. Father of Dennis C. Butterfield, and Gary M. Butterfield both of Windham, Timothy J. Butterfield DVM of Derry, NH; also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Calling hours Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 4-8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., DERRY. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 10 AM in St. Matthews Church, 2 Searles Rd., Windham. The burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain in Windham.
