Susan Kay White, age 68, of Macon, MO, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Samaritan Hospital, in Macon, MO. She was born on February 22, 1953 in Brookfield, MO, the daughter of Harold Dean "H.D." and June (Rose) Spencer.

Susan and Keith were married for 27 years. Susan started the Scribes Closet Publication, where she wrote and published several children books over the years. Keith farmed in his early years, and later owned and operated White Chimney Heating and Cooling starting in 1985. Together, Susan and Keith were members of the First Baptist Church in Macon. Most winters, they traveled to Texas and practiced their ministry for the Door of Faith Ministry as chaplains. They enjoyed camping together and sold produce to the local area of Macon. Most of all, they loved spending time with their family, especially their grandchildren.

They are survived by their children, Jeremy Carr of Kansas City, MO, Jonathan Cook (Kristi) of Callao, MO, Heather Murphy (Paul) of Callao, MO, Kevin White (Penny) of Macon, MO, Kurt White (Pam) of Columbia, MO, Karina Brown of Excello, MO, and Kris White (Susan) of Meta, MO; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings, Roger Spencer (Janey) of New Cambria, MO, Sally Muncy (Gary) of Columbia, MO, and Darlene Bixby of Wisconsin; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews, and extended family.

They are preceded in death by their parents; one brother, Carl White Jr.; one sister, Eileen Coffin; and infant, Karla White.

A private memorial service was held August 27, 2021, followed with the committal service at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon, MO.

A celebration of life gathering open to all family and friends followed the committal service at the United Trinity Church Assembly of God in Macon.

Family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church of Macon or the Ray of Hope Pregnancy Center.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.
