15 Oct 1966: Mrs. Delfie S. Hale Wampler, 315 S. Lancaster Ave., Annville, died Friday afternoon in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 80. She was a member of the Annville Church of the Brethren and the Dorcas Sunday School Class. Born in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Newton M. and Melissa Garber Hale. She Is survived by 12 sons and daughters: Miss Alda Wampler, at home; Mrs. Margaret Kreider, Annville; William Dee Wampler, Hershey; Effie, wife of Harry Ebersole, Hummelstown RD 1;. Naomi wife of Nathan Martzall, Lititz; Harry N., Hummelstown RD 1; Paul H., Isaac J., Harold E. and Warren F., all of Lebanon RD 4; Arnold G., Richland, and Esther M., wife of Harry M. Smith, Palmyra. Also surviving are 38 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a twin sister, Mrs. Effie West, Bellegrade, Fla., and a brother, Wilbur Hale, Arlington, Va. Her husband, Homer J.
