DALY, Gloria Somborn Born October 7, 1920. Passed away on December 11, 2000, after a long and valiant battle with brain cancer. Beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wilfrid A. Daly; children, Chris (Anita) Anderson, Larry (Judi) Anderson, Brooke (James) Voung; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Court. She is also survived by her sister Michelle Amon, many nieces and nephews. Gloria was born in Los Angeles, graduated from Beverly Hills High chool, attended Stanford University and was previously married to the late Robert W. Anderson. She lived many years in New York where she was active at St. James Parish, and was a volunteer chaplain's assistant at Memorial-Sloane Kettering Hospital. She moved to Pebble Beach, California, and was a volunteer at the Hospice of Carmel as well as The Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula. Gloria was deeply honored to serve on the Board of Trustees at All Saints Episcopal Day School as well as being on the vestry of All Saints Church. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 16th at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, Carmel. n lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Day School at 8060 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel, California 93923 in memory of Gloria S.
